My medals are both mythic and cryptic utilizing portals and openings, pathways and meanders, the chthonic realm, the universal egg, lunar cycles, wraith creatures and animal symbols in various combinations along with words and figuration. In 2006, the enduring serpent path entered the works with dominant themes of renewal and regeneration or of origin and destination.
As an art educator and administrator, I introduced bronze medal-making into all curriculums (high school, post-secondary, and continuing education evening classes) at the Art Centre of Central Technical School in Toronto. Many members of MASC have moved through one or more of them.
